Frenchies Bistro and Brewery welcomes you to celebrate FRENCHIES OKTOBERFEST on Saturday 19th October from 12pm to 9pm.
Inspired by our Head Brewer Vincent’s German roots, we are creating an Oktoberfeast with authentic German food and beer.
There will be live entertainment band, plenty of competitions including: Nail Hammer Competition, Beer Pong Competition, Beer Stein Race, Guzzling Competition,..
Come and watch or take part in the competitions, it’s free to enter and there are great prizes to win.
The German Oompah Band
We’ll also have a live band playing German music. Expect good cheer and merriment from these costumed fellows whilst bashing out many a happy tune! Dancing always happens along with the bands special rendition of Ein Prosit, as in Munich, every time this music starts everyone is expected to stand up, sing and take a drink!
Picture a huge beer hall in Bavarian colours with long tables and endless food and beers. It will definitely be a feast; the menu will include famous German dishes such as Pretzel, Sauerkraut, Spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce or crispy Pork Belly with Knoedel. As dessert, you’ll be able to taste Apfelstrudel, Kaiserschmarn, or the popular gingerbread hearts. All homemade on premises by Frenchies executive chef Thomas Cauquil.
A family friendly party
It will be a family friendly event full of entertainment. Here is the kids program:
- 10am-1pm: “Little People: Big Ideas” pop up play with two facilitators that will be leading children through their activities. Then the area will transform into a kids drawing section.
