BRUTUS IPA started as a style in late 2017 in San Francisco bay. The aim was to do a hop champagne with low bitterness, high carbonation and no residual sugar, hence the 'brut' mention. Our Brut IPA was first brewed for our 1st Birthday starring a good addition of rolled oats, maize and loads of Hallertau Blanc. This celebration beer is sparkly with an intense Pinot Gris character, lifted by distinctive gooseberry and tropical aromas. The finish is dry, lingering and smooth.
